Licensed Professional Counselor-In Training
I’m Dylan Allen, a Licensed Professional Counselor-In Training (LPC-IT) with a passion for helping individuals and couples navigate life’s challenges with clarity and purpose.
I engage with clients in treating depression and anxiety, using a direct, goal-focused, and empathetic approach that empowers my clients to take meaningful steps toward change.
In my work with individuals, I primarily use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help identify and shift unhelpful thought patterns and behaviors. When working with couples, I draw from Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFCT) to foster deeper connection and emotional safety. I also integrate a person-centered philosophy—meeting you where you are, with empathy and respect.
I work with adults and adolescents ages 16 and up, both individuals and couples, and bring experience from over five years in the mental health field, including working with high-acuity cases in hospital settings. This background gives me a grounded understanding of how mental health challenges can impact every aspect of life—and how healing can begin with the right support.
Whether you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected, I’m here to help you move forward with confidence and care.
