Whether working with children, adults, or families, Melissa’s goal is always to provide a supportive space where healing and growth can occur.

In addition to her expertise in traditional therapeutic methods, Melissa has also received training in Somatic work. This approach focuses on the mind-body connection, helping clients release stored tension, trauma, and emotional patterns that may be impacting their well-being.

After earning her Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, Melissa completed her Master’s in both Community Counseling and School Counseling at Concordia University. She brings extensive knowledge in child development, women’s issues, anxiety, and behavioral interventions. Melissa is particularly passionate about helping young adults navigate life transitions and relationship challenges, and her strengths-based approach incorporates a variety of therapeutic techniques, including Somatic practices, to empower clients and promote long-term change.

Outside of her professional life, Melissa enjoys spending quality time with her family, engaging in outdoor activities, reading, and hosting movie nights. Her love for art, music, and literature further fuels her creativity and ability to connect with others.
